Steel Products
Finished & Semi-Finished
Steel Products
Steel Products (Finished & Semi-Finished) refers to steel materials at different stages of production — either ready for final use or still needing further processing.
Semi-Finished Steel Products
Semi Finished
These are intermediate steel forms that are not yet ready for direct use by end customers. They are produced in steel mills and then sent to rolling mills or other facilities for further shaping.
Common examples:
- Slab – A thick, flat rectangular piece of steel (used to make steel plates and sheets).
- Billet – A long square or round bar (used to make rebar, wire rods, and bars).
- Bloom – Similar to a billet but larger in cross-section (used for structural steel products).
Think of semi-finished products as raw shapes of steel waiting to be processed into final products.
Finished Steel Products
Finished Steel Products
These are fully processed steel products ready for use in construction, manufacturing, or other industries.
Common examples:
- Rebar (reinforcement bars for construction), Steel sheets and plates
- Beams (I-beams, H-beams), Steel pipes and tubes, Wire rods
These products are ready to be sold and used in buildings, cars, machinery, pipelines, etc.
